Disney+ Will Be Bundled Up With Hulu And ESPN+ For A Single Fee

Published by Lamin Kanteh on

Walt Disney has become one of the biggest media cooperations in the world. The mega-conglomerate recently finish buying off 20th Century Fox which includes IPs like Home Alone, Alien, Ice age, Kingsman, just to name a few.

But Micky Mouse doesn’t only want to be the biggest name in movies as the company just recently announced Disney+, a streaming platform a bid to topple Netflix and Amazon Prime.

DIsney+ is only but one of the company’s streaming platforms that include Hulu (Disney now owns a controlling share of the streaming service) as well as ESPN+.

With three different streaming platforms, Disney has the right tools to completely overrun the streaming space by offering a variety that its competitors couldn’t. And with that in mind, the company is consolidating all its streaming assets into one bundled up service with a single price.

For a total cost of $12.99 a month, users can access Disney+, ad-supported Hulu and ESPN+ that is if you do not want to use any of the available third-party apps to stream shows and movies.

This is going to cut back on cost for those looking to enjoy content from multiple genres but don’t want to pay exorbitant prices for multiple offerings. According to many reputable news outlets, Disney will delegate more family-friendly content to its Disney+ while Hulu will supposedly host the more mature content.

This is amazing news for Chromecast users especially those wanting to have all their go-to shows in one place as the platform will be fully supported on the device.

And considering the ad-supported plan for Hulu cost about $5.99/month, ESPN+ for $4.99/month, and the standard standalone Disney+ service for $6.99/month, getting everything for $12.999 a compelling choice.
