Ever since Netflix became popular, big companies have been scampering to adopt its subscription model where paid programs are bundled together and offered as a continuously running service.

Subscriptions-based service for Games has long been tentatively explored by companies but never fully delved into until Google cooked up Stadia.

Stadia is poised to change the landscape of how we entertain ourselves through the games we play by offering a new method of access, a leveler playing field, and more interactive gaming experience.

To reach its goal, Google, like Netflix, needs original content for its Stadia platform and this resulted in the creation of the Stadia Games and Entertainment division.

The new division is tasked with creating games tailored to Stadia and also facilitating the inclusion of both second and third-party games to the platform.

Now, the company has opened its first studio headed by EA vet Jade Raymond with the plan being branching out into several more first-party studios in a bid to release new Stadia-exclusive title yearly.

To make sure these new titles aren’t only using the copy and paste regiment recently seen within the gaming industry, the company is hoping to add few spins to its games like full physics simulations and integrating Google Assistant to be the voice of NPCs in the games.

Stadia’s maiden voyage is scheduled to start on November 19

And as you may know, Chrome OS is ushering us into a future of the unknown and I'm here to help in the process of easing the way into that future via ItsChromeOS.
