Rumors surrounding Google’s own gaming console has been making the rounds on the internet for a good while and for good reasons. Google has been making wild strides in this specific regard with efforts in the form of Project Stream and the debut of the Google Play Store on Chrome OS a couple of years back. However, not all their efforts so far have been successful considering that their Android TV platform was originally intended to help in filling that vacuum within the Google ecosystem which unfortunately is no more than in blip in the gaming industry. Here’s to hoping that the upcoming announcement at the Game Developers Conference ushers in a groundbreaking revolution capable of rivaling the likes of Microsoft’s Xbox and Sony’s PlayStation.

As indicated in the tweet above, the supposed “vision for the future of gaming” is slated for the 2019 Game Developers Conference on the 19th of March and we are only but exhilarated for what’s to come and how that will relate to or impact Chrome OS.
