Asus Chromebook C425

Samsung just launched the long-awaited sequel to the Samsung Chromebook 3 and despite being sparkly new, the new Chromebook 4 and its colleague, the Samsung Chromebook 4+ will feature an insignificant Intel Celeron N4000 processor.

However, if you are in the market for something with a little more boom, then you are in luck as Amazon is offering a sweet deal on an Asus Chromebook C425 that ships with Intel’s Core M3-8100Y processor.

Now, compared to the N4000 found in the new Samsung Chromebook 4 and 4+, the M3 reaches the same 1.10GHz base clock speeds but take it up a few notches and M3 smokes the N4000 hitting max frequencies of 3.40GHz much faster than the 2.40GHz for Max Frequency being offered by the Celeron Processor.

The Chromebook also has some other amazing features too like its 14″ FHD 4-Way NanoEdge display, 8GB RAM, 64GB eMMC Storage and on top of that, the Asus Chromebook C425 features a backlit keyboard perfect for night owls.

Port configurations include two functional USB Type-C (Gen 1) ports and one Type-A (Gen 1) and additionally, the device also comes with a 180-degree hinge that can adapt to several working situations.

The device runs Chrome OS (I mean that is the only reason we are even talking about it) and you know what that means. You get nearly impenetrable security, timely and useful updates and overall impressive user experience.

Amazon is currently offering the Asus Chromebook C425 for $399. That is like $100 off its original price making it a better option than the recently released Samsung Chromebook 4.
