Deal Alert! Free Google Home Mini For Spotify Premium Users(US Subscribers only)
During this year’s hardware event, Google released a handful of new hardware that included an updated and much-improved version of its miniature home speaker, the Google Home Mini.
However, this doesn’t mean the arrival of the Nest Mini is the end of the line for the Home Mini and Spotify is giving some of its subscribers an opportunity to own a previous generation Home Speaker from Google for free.
Here is how to get your hands on one for yourself:
- Head over to spotify.com and log-in to your account — premium accounts only
- If you do now have an account, you can sign up for a premium Spotify account through the home page.
- When the login process is completed, Click on either Individual or Family icon depending which you have/sign-up for– this will reserve a Google Home Mini for that account.
- You should get two emails: one confirming the reservation and the other –which will arrive later– with a link to the Google Store where you can snag the device for free.
If you do not know, Premium accounts allow you to play any song or playlist through Spotify, enjoy unlimited skips, and easily toggle between your devices—including your car and your Google Home Mini.
Note: If you are on a free trial account, have premium student accounts or on a discounted premium account, the offer won’t be available to you.
Also, if your account was credited with a Home Mini through last year’s similar promotion, it would not qualify for the new one.
With that being said, this is overall a great deal for qualified Premium accounts as you will be getting a device valued at $50 for completely free.
